Reading John 5 for Friday, January 29th. Jesus heals a guy and tells him to pick up his mat and walk, but the Jews didn’t like that plan. Jesus then explains the problem of focusing so much on the scriptures that you miss the message and the purpose they serve.

Reading John 4 for Thursday, January 28th. Jesus explains to His disciples that the harvest is coming, even though they did not do the hard work of sowing or preparing soil.
