What is the difference between Karma and Consequences?<\/p>\n<p>Tell about a time you got what you deserved that was bad: (as a result of a bad decision)<\/p>\n<p>Tell about something good that resulted from a decision or action you made:<\/p>\n<p>How about a time you suffered as a result of something beyond your control? (somebody else&#8217;s choice)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A kind man benefits himself, but a cruel man brings trouble on himself. [18] The wicked man earns deceptive wages, but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.&#8221;<br \/>\n-(NIV) Proverbs 11:17-18<\/p>\n<p>There is an event that we benefit from if we choose to accept it. Christ died for our sins to be forgiven as stated in Isaiah: <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.&#8221;<br \/>\n-(NIV) Isaiah 53:5<\/p>\n<p>We are healed from our sin sickness and able to relate to God. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That if you confess with your mouth, &#8220;Jesus is Lord,&#8221; and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.&#8221;<br \/>\n-(NIV) Romans 10:9-10<\/p>\n<p>Think about the possible consequenses of decisions you are making today. Ask God to direct your steps toward a more righteous way.
