DISCUSSION: ‘TALK’

Have you gotten in trouble by saying something you thought without thinking how others might hear it?

What did you regret? Them hearing, or you having the thought in the first place?

Is it possible for someone to be offended by what we say, and not be
wrong for saying it?

How do we know the difference?

MATTHEW 12:34b-37

(36) But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. (37) For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

-Karyn writes”… I have this idea that i offend people

such a way that i am serious, but not offensive. After thinking about
it, I realize that i do think about my words and choose them carefully
(usually). It is something God has taught me over the past few years. I
think our words reflect what kind of person we are, how we think, and
what we dwell on…”
