What kind of person would your friends say you are?

How do you treat your friends?

Are you flaky, dependable, rude, a good listener, easy to talk to?

Would your siblings say the same thing?

How do you treat your family?

Do you give them the same courtesies, kindness and respect you give your friends?

Why or why not?

Our families are the people who see us when we feel the worst, lowest and sickest- they probably see your worst qualities- the ones we try to hide or control around friends. How you act when you are around the ones who will love you and keep you despite your faults and mistreatment is probably a good indicator of who you really are. If you would lose a lot of friends if they saw this side of you, you need to change your attitude and actions toward those you spend the most time with. Don’t live a dual life and portray yourself as someone who you only are part of the time. Spend all of your time doing what is right, no matter how annoyed you may get. We hear people say ‘be yourself’ all the time. If your true self were the person your family members see, and you don’t like that person, then it’s time to have a change of heart and attitude.
