Discussion: Direction

How can I tell where God wants me to go?

What am I supposed to do?

What if I choose the wrong thing?

“The LORD foils the plans of the nations;
he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.” -Psalms 33:10-11

How do we know when God is talking?

“Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” -Acts 17:11

Sometimes His direction is not what we want.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
-Jeremiah 29:11

time with God- the more time you spend with Him, the more you understand how He speaks to you- and that He speaks to us all in a unique way.

Karyn writes,”God speaks to me through prayer, He gives me thoughts, even shows me who and what to pray for sometimes. I wouldn’t hear Him much if I didn’t make time for prayer, or read what He’s left for me to read, I would have a hard time knowing what he wants.”

Many of you have problems with time limitations. We need to make God a priority, or He won’t make our paths straight.
