Discussion: Bickering

Have you ever argued for no good reason?

When is it worth argueing?

I think of bickering as an arguement without a motive to end well. Kids get into cycles where they just get louder and eventually hurt each other.

Is it hard to be a counselor to two people argueing, if they will listen to you if not each other?

What does it say about our faith if we refuse to accept the resolution given by a respected brother or sister in Christ?

Have you ever damaged your testimony for personal gain or pride? What is worth that cost? Are we too stubborn to be used by God?

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 6:7-8
“The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? [8] Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers.”
