Reading 1 Kings 15 for Saturday, May 10th. Abijah is king for 3 years, but does not please God. Asa became king for 41 years, and did good things, to honor God. Asa died after his feet became diseased. The next king reigned for 2 years. He and his whole family was killed by Nadab, the next king.
