Today I read 1 Samuel 30 where David and his men had their wives and children and belongings taken by enemies, but after inquiring of the Lord, David knew that they would successfully get them back. (Previously recorded audio) then I read 1 Thessalonians 4-5 to keep up with my church’s New Testament reading plan. The Thessalonians are encouraged to be ready for Jesus’s return, and to keep doing good things they already are.
