I read 2 Samuel 14 today. Absalom was invited to return safely, but not to see David, his father. He tried to contact Joab, but Joab did not respond, so Absalom’s servants set Joab’s field on fire. That finally got his attention. Absalom also had voluminous impressive hair. I listened to Week 7, day 34 of the Immerse audio Bible. Read along starting in the letter to the Colossians 1-4.
