Discussion: Invite

What is the reason we meet here on Wednesdays?

What benefits are there to going to a church?

Who else could benefit from being here?

Why would some people possibly not want to come?

What might surprise new people coming for the first time to this group?

Should we invite Christians to youth group?

Should we also invite nonbelievers?

Should we have non believing friends as well as believing? Why?

“Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and `sinners’?” Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” -Luke 5:29-32 (NIV)

If we are caring for the spiritually sick, should we be concerned about our own spiritual health as well to care for others effectively?

How can we be strong ourselves?

What helps you do have stronger faith in God? What hurts?

Think of someone who comes to mind to pray for and invite to church or youth group in the next two weeks.
