Discussion: Correction

Have you heard about overcrowding in prisons?

To help with the problem of overcrowding in prisons, programs have been put in place to educate prisoners. Programs include job training, literacy, and so on. The hope is that criminals will be better equipped to sustain a life without crime when their term is up.

Do any of these ideas have merit?

What does God say about our role?

Is it good enough to not commit crimes alone?

What is sin?

Sin is not just doing something bad, it's separation from God. By breaking the law, we are sinning, but God has laws that are not illegal to break- but going against His commands is sinful.

If you are not an officer of the law, what could you do to reduce sin?

Is it possible to sin without breaking the law?

Is it possible to break God's law without sinning?
