What is sorrow?
How do you deal with loss?
What do others do when they are in emotional pain?
What did Jesus do?
“Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the
point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” [39] Going a little
farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father,
if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will,
but as you will.”

“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no
regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”
-2 Corinthians 7:10 (NIV)
Your sorrow should bring you to God for comfort and assurance,
otherwise it is worldly sorrow, and is destructive.
How can we fight these kinds of destructive thoughts?
