Reading Romans chapter 14 for Wednesday, April 30th. Don’t judge others because of what they eat, or do not eat.

Reading Romans chapter 13 for Tuesday, April 29th. Respect authorities and love one another to fulfill the law.

Reading Romans chapter 12 for Monday, April 28th. Respect others and use your gifts, but don’t brag about them.

Reading Romans chapter 11 for Friday, April 25th. Don’t get proud of where you are and look down on others. (Also, pardon the sound of my voice for this episode.)

Reading Romans chapter 10 for Thursday, April 24th. Salvation is for everyone that believes. The word of God guides us to understand God’s message accurately.

Reading 1 Kings chapter 6 for Wednesday, April 23rd. Solomon had the temple built with stone, wood, and gold with designs of cherubim, palm trees, pomegranates, and open blossoming flowers.

Reading 1 Kings chapter 5 for Tuesday, April 22nd. David and the king of tyre work together in trade as work on the temple has finally begun.

Reading 1 Kings chapter 4 for Monday, April 21st. Solomon has a lot of horses and employees, and knows a lot about science and biology.

Reading 1 Kings chapter 3 for Friday, April 18th. Solomon was allowed to make a request from God, and he asked for a discerning heart. God gave him that and much more.

Reading 1 Kings chapter 2 for Thursday, April 17th. Solomon takes advice from David and established his kingdom firmly with a few executions and some leadership changes.

Reading 1 Kings chapter 1 for Wednesday, April 16th. David gets weak and cold, and a son of his declares himself king, so David appoints Solomon king and sets him on the throne over Israel.

Reading 2 Samuel 24 for Tuesday, April 15th. David counts his men, and picks his consequence.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 23 for Monday, April 14th. David recognizes the most valiant and mighty warriors that supported his battle efforts.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 22 for Friday, April 11th. David feels a song coming on.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 21 for Thursday, April 10th. David makes things right with the wronged Gibeonites and God answers prayer again for the land.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 20 for Wednesday, April 9th. Sheba runs to a fortified city and that city is attacked by Joab’s troops, until a wise woman learns that Sheba is a wanted man, so his head is thrown over the wall, ending the siege.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 19 for Tuesday, April 8th. David mourns, then is invited to return to rule the land. He shows mercy to Shimei and rules again.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 18 for Monday, April 7th. Battle ensues in the forest. David’s son and rival king is accidentally stuck in a tree and purposefully killed by David’s men. David mourns the news.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 17 for Friday, April 4th. Hushai’s bad advice is taken over Ahithophel’s good advice, and Ahithophel loses hope and his will to live.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 16 for Thursday, April 3rd. A guy throws rocks and dirt at David and his men. Absalom sleeps with his dad’s ten concubines in a tent on the palace roof. Two advisers give Absalom bad advice.

Reading 2 Samuel chapter 15 for Wednesday, April 2nd. David fled the palace once Absalom took Hebron and the hearts of the people.
