John 21

Reading John 19 for Thursday, April 28th. Jesus is sentenced to be crucified, and is. He designates a disciple to take care of his mom before he dies.

Reading John 18 for Wednesday, April 27th. Jesus gets betrayed, then arrested, and put on trial, Peter denies knowing Jesus three times. 

John 17

Reading John 17 for Tuesday, April 26th. Jesus prays to God The Father for His disciples to be protected while in the world, rather than being simply taken from it. 

John 16

Reading John 16 for Monday, April 25th. Jesus explains that after He leaves, the Holy Spirit will come to be with them. Finally the disciples believe and understand what Jesus is saying. 

Jeremiah 18

Reading Jeremiah 18 for Saturday, April 23rd. God is like a potter, He can shape or reshape His clay as He sees fit. Jeremiah asks God to remember the sins of those who are verbally attacking him. 

Jeremiah 17

Reading Jeremiah 17 for Friday, April 22nd. The people of Jerusalem are warned not to carry loads on the Sabbath Day.

Reading Jeremiah 16 for Thursday, April 21st. Deadly diseases will fall on the Israelites and the land they are in will suffer.

Reading Jeremiah 15 for Wednesday, April 20th. God plans to punish many, but provides another plan for those who repent of their backsliding.

Reading Jeremiah 14 for Tuesday, April 19th. Jeremiah prophesies drought, famine, plague & sword while false prophets speak assuring lies in God’s name and will suffer the very things they said would not happen.

Reading Jeremiah 13 for Monday, April 18th. Judah and Jerusalem are considered useless as a dirty linen belt due to their detestable acts.

Reading Jeremiah 11 for Thursday, April 14th. Jeremiah prophesies against Jerusalem because of their broken covenant with God, and men of Anathoth threaten his life if he continues to prophesy, but God plans to wipe them out.

Reading Jeremiah 10 for Wednesday, April 13th. God is compared to idols, and Jeremiah prays to be corrected with justice rather than in God’s anger.

Reading Jeremiah 8 for Monday, April 11th. God really doesn’t like it when His people worship idols.

Reading Jeremiah 6 for Thursday, April 7th. Jerusalem will be attacked by an army from the north, because nobody in Jerusalem will listen to or obey God.

Reading Jeremiah 5 for Wednesday, April 6th. God plans to punish Jerusalem and allow terrible things to happen to them because not even one person deals honestly and seeks the truth.

Reading Jeremiah 4 for Tuesday, April 5th. God speaks through Jeremiah telling his people to turn from their evil ways and aim to know and understand how to do good.

Reading Jeremiah 3 for Monday, April 4th. Don’t be like Judah who turned to the Lord in pretense.
