Reading 1 Peter 4 for Thursday, June 30th. Don’t forget to love first and if you suffer, make sure you suffer for Christ, rather than evil crimes. 

Reading 1 Peter 3 for Wednesday, June 29th. Submission and consideration are worthy of focusing on in marriage. How we act says a lot about our God and the hope we have, but we also should have some words ready as well. 

Reading 1 Peter 2 for Tuesday, June 28th. “Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men…” 

Reading 1 Peter 1 for Monday, June 27th. “…live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear.” 

Reading James 5 for Saturday, June 25th. Confess your sins to each other, and pray for the sick in faith. 

Reading Ezekiel 3 for Friday, June 24th. God instructs Ezekiel about how he needs to say exactly what he is told, or face accountability for the blood of those that should have been warned, but were not. 

Reading Ezekiel 2 for Thursday, June 23rd. The LORD speaks to Ezekiel and tells him to not be afraid to share His word with the people He is sending him to. 

Reading Ezekiel 1 for Wednesday, June 22nd. Ezekiel sees a vision of heaven and the glory of God. He describes a brilliant and awesome glowing and hovering unusual living aircraft or creature with a radiant being riding on top of it. 

Reading Lamentations 5 for Tuesday, June 21st. The people of Zion recognize their sin as the reason for their suffering and ask for mercy while acknowledging God’s sovereignty. 

Reading Lamentations 4 for Monday, June 20th. The sons and daughters of Zion are being punished horribly, but Edom will be next. 

Reading Lamentations 3 for Saturday, June 18th. There is still compassion and hope in the midst of suffering and destruction. 

Reading Lamentations 2 for Friday, June 17th. Horrible imagery of what God allowed to happen to Israel after they left His protection and blessing. 

Reading Lamentations 1 for Thursday, June 16th. Judah is described as a queen who became a slave, because of her sins. 

Reading Jeremiah 52 for Wednesday, June 15th. Bad news for Jerusalem and Judah. 

Reading Jeremiah 51 for Tuesday, June 14th. Bad news for Babylon. 

Reading Jeremiah 50 for Monday, June 13th. God will bring destruction to Babylon, known as “the arrogant one”. 

Reading Jeremiah 49 for Saturday, June 11th. Multiple prophecies of destruction, with some news of exceptions and hope of restoration. 

Reading Jeremiah 48 for Friday, June 10th. Bad news for Moab, but not all bad. 

Reading Jeremiah 47 for Thursday, June 9th. The sword is prophesied to come down on the Philistines until God wants it to stop. 

Reading Jeremiah 46 for Wednesday, June 8th. God plans to destroy those around the people of Jacob, but not all of Jacob’s people, and only with justice. 

Reading Jeremiah 45 for Tuesday, June 7th. God says that Baruch should not seek great things for himself, but although disaster will come upon all people, he will still escape with his life. 

Reading Jeremiah 44 for Monday, June 6th. The Jewish exiles are warned, but chose to continue worshipping the queen of heaven in Egypt instead of God, and are destined for destruction, aside from a few fugitives. 

Reading Jeremiah 43 for Saturday, June 4th. It does not pay to live in rebellion to the God of the universe. 

Reading Jeremiah 42 for Friday, June 3rd. The remnant asked for God’s direction, but God knows they do not plan to obey. 

Reading Jeremiah 41 for Thursday, June 2nd. Ishmael assassinated Gedaliah and escaped to the Ammonites. 

Reading Jeremiah 40 for Wednesday, June 1st. Jeremiah is freed from his chains and given freedom and a gift.
