I read Mark 2 today, Jesus surprises some religious lawyers when he forgives a man of his sins in the process of healing him. Then He invites a tax collector to follow Him, and eats with sinners. Then Jesus is asked why He and his disciples do not fast. He and His disciples then picked grain to eat on the Sabbath, which also offended the Pharisees.
