Today I read Mark 9, and then Acts 28, followed by 1 Thessalonians 1. In Mark, Jesus visited with Moses and Elijah, and cast an evil spirit out of a boy, but his disciples could not do it. In Acts, Paul was bitten by a snake, but surprisingly did not die and healed a man’s father later on. In Thessalonians, Paul, Silas, and Timothy wrote to encourage them for turning from sin and living out inspiring faith in God as an example to others. (Mark 9 recorded previously)
