Today I read 2 Samuel 1 about an Amalekite who visited David and told him that he killed Saul at his request and then brought his crown and bracelet to David. David ordered the Amalekite to be killed for raising his hand against the Lord’s anointed. I also listened to today’s Immerse reading audio for day 21 of week 5 of the 16 week New Testament reading plan, where Paul corrects some problems rising up in the church in Corinth.
