Today I read 2 Kings 18:
Hezekiah as king actually pleases God and takes down the high places that had tripped up Israel before his time, they even had been burning incense to the snake Moses had crafted by God’s instruction, so he broke that to pieces because of their idolatry. The king of Assyria then taunts him and all Israel for trusting in the Lord.
