Why do most people hate waiting?
What was something you had to wait a really long time for?
Share a time where you waited, but what you were waiting for wasn’t worth the wait.
(Ezra: I had been automatically made part of a class action lawsuit and was told I would receive a settlement check from Google. I forgot about it until I received a check in the mail many months later – for 15¢. It seemed like a waste of postage to mail it, and a waste of gas to deposit i. I deposited it though, on my bicycle)
What is worth waiting for?
Sometimes God asks us to wait, and it is to help us to mature and be ready for his blessing. What is God making you wait for now?
A man named Abraham had a promise from God* that he would have a big family with lots of descendants, but he was getting old and still seemed not to be able to have children. He knew God could do anything and kept believing, even when his wife seemed to doubt.
