Discussion: Procrastination

Do you do things you have to do at the earliest opportunity?

Why (if ever) do you delay necessary tasks?

Proverbs
(3:28) Do not say to your neighbor,
“Come back later; I’ll give it tomorrow”—
when you now have it with you.

What do you think of a person who said they would do something for you, but every time you ask about it, they have not done a thing?

Proverbs
(26:15) The sluggard buries his hand in the dish;
he is too lazy to bring it back to his mouth.

How can I know if I am lazy?

-You have a problem finishing things you start.

-You don’t start things.

-You avoid being available around those who you know need help.

-People call you lazy.

How can I correct my problem of procrastination? (Or laziness)

Admit you procrastinate to someone, and ask them to pray with you to be a finisher, and to be proactive in specific areas.
